The Edwards entry alienates the bitter scowling and dishonest rightwing, pushing them farther to the right where they make slanderous comments (like saying Democrats support terrorism), while they themselves are symbolized by Cheney, corporate corruption, energy gouging, lies about WMD's, the F word and Halliburton.

Bush just lost three things to Kerry overnight. His optimism vs. pessimism message, his I'm more like you and my opponent is an elitist message, and finally any chance of winning the election.

I wouldn't bet a plugged nickel on Bush-Cheney's chances anymore. In a new poll on MSNBC, 24% of voters say they're more likely to vote for Kerry now than they were two days ago. Kerry is now 8% ahead of Bush and rising. That means he could be ahead by 15-20% in a month which is insurmountable. Bush-Cheney will be lucky to win what Dole did in 1996. This will also probably result in Nader dropping out as the Edwards "two Americas" message makes Nader's unnecessary.
