This the source of most conflicts, national pride. BTW that was exactly the reason for the France and Germany going to war in 19th century. NATIONAL PRIDE!!!
The naivete of your analysis is breathtaking. A good analogy would claiming sneezing causes colds.

The first Franco-German conflicts in the 19th century were part of the Napoleonic Wars. [ Note that this can be claimed to be false, too, because Germany did not exist as a nation. ] Imperial and family ambition on the part of Napoleon played at least as much a part in this as national pride, plus a feeling by the French that they had THE ANSWER to the world's problems with the end of monarchies. And you think maybe the French Revolution had something to do with this?

Perhaps this will help.

The second conflict was the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. It was basically caused by Prussia's, under Bismarck and the later Kaiser Wilhem's, drive to unite the German principalities and duchies into a single nation. France was afraid (correctly, as it turned out) that this presented a threat to its national security and opposed it. In a contretemps worthy of a soap opera, France stupdily declared war on Prussia.

Six weeks later the Prussian Army took Paris. This was the first illustration of the sayings "The only time the French want to fight is when the German Army is sipping coffee in the cafes of the Champs Elysees" and "The last time the French demanded more proof, it came marching into Paris under a German flag".

I would suggest you learn a bit, else your only purpose on this board will be as a punching bag.
