Considering how much information is already out there showing that Bush ignored the terrorist threat, lied about going to war, stole the election, is giving Medicare to drug companies, thinks his 'base' is the super rich, etc.... even if Bush were proven to be a gay, communist, serial murdering transvestite, 40% who consider themselves to be Republicans would STILL VOTE FOR HIM! All the yammering about people wanting liberty, freedom, self-determination and democracy is pure bunkum. We're proving time and again that many (if not most) people wish to be told what to do and when to do it. Most people want security, safety and as little meaningful responsibility as possible. No wonder fascism and fundamentalism take hold so easily. Democracy and freedom require work and most people aren't willing to work that hard.
