McCain called Bush "corrupt" earlier this year, gave him a C- grade and called him irresponsible for not curbing government spending. No chance McCain would accept a VP slot. McCain is also on record as praisign Kerry as a real hero, tough on defense and very honest, not to mention one of his best friends. Nope, GW and Cheney are stuck with each other. What the GOP really needs is to replace GW. Cheney and GW both have approval ratings in the low 40's.
