Just an observation....but it seems to me that we are getting close to the point where the market is putting a negative value on Sandisk's manufacturing capability. If you subtract out cash, Sandisk's market cap is about $2 billion. I think you could probably justify that valuation through the royalty stream alone. $160 million in royalties that should grow along with the overall NAND market would probably get you back the $2 billion in cash before the patents expired. That doesnt even put any value on the half of the state of the art fab that they own with Toshiba.

Anybody want to help me with my leveraged buyout? ;-)
