We centrists are puzzled. Why does the rightwing keep trying to run against far left liberals? Those people are already in the bag for Kerry because they would never ever consider voting for Bush and Nader will be a non-event this year. What you rightwingers need to worry about is the vast center in this country, dems, repubs and independents. Kerry and Edwards can win the moderate vote by 25% and that means a landslide wipeout of Bush. The far right and far left merely balance each other out.

This may explain Bush's recent flipflops to try and look more like Kerry in Iraq. But that dog don't hunt. Bush promised us he'd be a moderate-conservative in 2000 and as soon as he got into power he moved all the way to the right. He cannot go back again. His record is a proven one. Kerry on the other hand has centrist policies and is promosing to work with Republicans to unify American. He will never go back to his 1970's liberal ways. Also, the world has changed a lot since then.
