To Mannyj and others on this thread:

Before going long on FIBR, I did the following evaluation:

1. There was a question at some point in time about "wisper" estimates
of earnings. Zacks consensus estimate is $0.12 per share, as compared
to the actual -$0.96 for the comparable quarter last year. This growth seems to be remarkable.

2. A recent WSJ article on Bay Networks clearly cautioned about the growth of Bay and COMS because of the competition from other less prominent manufacturers of networking equipment because the equipment is getting standardized. The WSJ article did not mention FIBR, though.

3. Regarding FIBR's filing with the SEC that their partners may sell some of their shares (about 2 million) in the open market, I feel
this is a preparation to raise cash at higher prices that FIBR may be expecting to prevail once their high realized earnings (privately known to them now) are announced.

4. Insiders have bought large quantities of shares at prices ranging
from $7 to $9.25 per share in the past, despite a recent sale at $6.22. Before making announcements on block sales, they should have rational private information that their earnings would be high this quarter. Rationally FIBR insiders should therefore prepare in advance to raise cash at higher expected prices for partners' expansion in Asia and inform the SEC ro circumvent any further allegations of the type falsely reported in the media.

5. I also got a response to my e-mail from Investor Relations which stated that FIBR would announce earnings in the morning of Aug 26,
but did not specify the exact time.

Considering all the above factors and the pros and cons deciphered from this thread, I felt convinced to go long in FIBR.

I welcome your comments!

With best regards,

Sankar Acharya
