<<The high degree of effectiveness of inspections made war a needless and unwise diversion from the "war on terror".>>

The inspectors did not discover the mass graves
The inspectors did not discover his 25 buried aircraft
The inspectors did not discover the missiles Saddam launched at Kuwait
The inspectors did not discover the billions in payoffs under the oil for food program
The inspectors did not discover the corruption in the UN
Iraq funds.

The were not looking for those things, they had tunnel vision as it was not their job.

The inspectors were assigned the wrong task.

They should have been sent around the world to seek out the most evil and untrustworthy man on earth with a proven track record of genocide, of starting wars, of using poison gases and launching missiles at nearby non-combatant nations.

They would have found him in Baghdad. And if he is not a terrorist then none exist
