Part of the numbers we knew as recruiters was the population growth in 1970 was 0.0% growth.....Don't know what it is today, but I strongly suspect this is part of the problem for the lack of numbers of personnel.

Several years ago, we heard an Admiral speak as to readiness and strategy for our forces....(between 94-96 I think)...He said we were prepared to handle 2 (two) major conflicts in the world at one time. He asked us how many of us knew that the previous year we had been asked to be in 72 countries that year....!!! None of us knew that..

Do you know if this still true?
