Z,

When Edwards pocketed a quarter of a billion between himself and his clients, where do you think the money came from? (Santa Klaus is not the right answer).

It came from insurance premiums paid by companies still able to afford higher premiums, workers wanting to continue their insurance. Side effect is that some companies, some workers could no longer afford the insurance and now uninsured. Edwards has shifted them to "the other America".

When you have just one trial lawyer siphoning a quarter of a billion from the productive economy, multiply it by all the trial lawyers, and we are talking destructive force in this country that hardly has an equal.
