First of all, how typical is the size of the award you're talking about (I don't know, I'm just asking)?

there is a wide range, I gave you a concrete example. If the case was in Bronx, the lawyer would have asked for 5M and would have received it. Bronx is notorious for this.

Second, how many of those 3 failures sue? If it's 1/10th, that drops your numbers substantially.

If all did, and sleazeballs like Edwards won them awards, the neuro surgeons would be out of business, and people with bad backs would be sentenced to life long suffering. All 97 out of 100 whom this doctor helped would today be suffering.
