Doren:

I am fascinated by your disdain for "the rich." From the tone of your post, the "rich" seem to be the enemy. I don't know who these people are or what threat you perceive they hold over you?

I know some fairly "rich" people and they are all very nice people. They work hard. Contribute to society many times over. They care a great deal about their communities. Provide hundreds, if not thousands of jobs. Are active in schools, business, church, local communities, in helping save the environment, and bettering others. I know some fairly poor people too and if you put the two together they are not so different. The "rich" are usually better educated, but not all of them, but I haven't met one that has a mean or malicious bone in their body. Why do you fear the rich? And why do you believe they would "abuse" students or the voucher system? There are people to fear and protect against in every class of society.....but you seem to think the "rich" are most abusive. If you mean people like Ken Lay, I couldn't agree more, but there are people that are very poor that abuse and take advantage of others. I'm wondering if you might have had a bad experience with someone that you consider "rich" that molded your opinion? Would you prefer that we all earn the same....or be given the same......in order to avoid being abused?
