I'm sure Bush does not now believe Saddam was impotent. I don't either. How does that fact change your argument? You've said nothing to change what I've said. If Saddam needed to murder Kurds willy nilly to keep the peace I guess you think he was doing a fine job. You'll find, I believe, there can be more peace in Iraq with a decent government than Saddam would ever have provided. Bush acted responsibly by going ahead without UN support. Bush could have been more responsible by going ahead many months sooner, IMHO, and were that the case, what we would have found likely would have been much different.

If Bush were really a liar as folks here charge without evidence or real cause, you can be sure we would have "found" plenty by now.
