None. But that's not your point. Your point is that we somehow lured poor little Saddam into Kuwait so that we could hammer him, a suggestion you did not include in the list.

Saddam was going to invade Kuwait regardless of what we did. He amassed the troops on his own, not at our prompting, and planned the attack before the Glaspie talks even took place. Thus, the suggestion that we lured him into Kuwait to deliver a sucker punch is quite humorous, actually, because it is so disconnected from reality.

However, I am quite familiar with how some need to have monsters under the bed to demonize. Sometimes they're the evil Jews, sometimes the sneaky Americans luring innocent Saddam into a trap, sometime it's the Commies, it goes on and on.

Same old story.
