That's why we have lawyers on both sides. The same thing could be said for criminal trials, very complicated issue with DNA test, etc. Are you saying that the the jury system isn't up to the task, in either case? That we shouldn't try criminals? Are we to throw out the trial by a jury of your peers part of the constitution?

I am not not completely sold on the jury system. It is just one of many different systems in the countries with democratic countries with rule of law. It is an admirable concept, the application of it to certain cases may be questionable. Medical malpractice cases are a good example, IMO, where it doesn't fit very well.

And people call Michael Moore a wild eyed fanatic. You are way off the scale. Get a grip man.

Are you disputing that the contributions from trial lawyers were disproportionate? Or that he won his senate seat largely thanks to the fortune he accumulated ripping off the the system as a trial lawyer?
