No problem. Waterhouse also told me it generally takes a month to get the certificates. If I want to sell before then, I just do it, and my broker cancels the call for those certificates. If I want to sell while they are in the mail or after they arrive at my home, I just do it, and then overnight 'em (or hand deliver 'em) right back within 3 days of the sale. Calling for the certificates does not restrict my hand in any way. But it sure does restrict the MM's hands, doesn't it.
