Excuse me........he was a senator for 6 years. Its very clear he's a quick study. I think the guy is the best thing since Slick Willie hit DC. Get over you partisan animosity! ;~)

Technically he has not been a senator for 6 years yet. Even Kerry himself mentioned how little experience he had not too long ago.

We've been through this before, and I even dug out the articles for you and posted them (way back in this thread). Less than two years after being elected to his first political office, Edwards was off traveling in Iowa and other primary states running focus groups etc to see how he ranked for pres.

The Bush/Cheney campaign has trashed Edwards every which way but never once has complained about his attendance in the Senate. If Edwards had been so derelict in his duties, I doubt they would have missed it given that he scares the bejezus out of them.

As someone from NC, I resent him "running for president" (he was doing all he could, so don't come back with the same stuff that he was not actually running at the time) before he's even gotten the seat warm on his current job.

I think your attitude may be a bit niggardly. He's been NC's senator for six years. Where does it say he must stay as its senator for the rest of his life?

BTW I'm impressed.........NC made a good choice when they elected Edwards. ;~)

He wasn't even going to win his re-election here, so he didn't have any choice other than stay in the presidential race so long.

Yeah, you've said that before.....its a good thing he's moving on.

Yet, he looks good, so he must be the best thing since sliced bread.

I would read his bio......it reads a hell of lot better than Bush's.
