AS, The press gave Bush a long free ride for too long. It cost us.

Members of the press have been consistently polled as being more liberal than the public in general.

So fukking what?!!! They let Bush get away with murder....literally. They said little when he ran to the SC after the election. They said little when he sat like a jackass after the WTC was attacked and then took off on AF one to places unknown. They said little when he erroneously jabbered on about Saddam. They said little when he pre emptively attacked another nation for no good reason.

They finally opened their mouths when, and only when, it became clear that the Bushies were screwed up and were messing up the Iraqi war.

One fukking thing I've learned during this mess is that our free press, unlike the Brit press, is afraid of the president. Sad......very sad!
