Some liberal politicians actually are close comrades with Fidel Castro.

Who?

Perhaps "close comrades" is too much. I'll change that to either "supporters of", or "friendly acquaintances with".

Charlie Rangel is a good example of a liberal politician with a record of supporting Fidel. Maxine Waters might also make the list as would Rep. James Clyburn who invited Castro to attend the Congressional Black Caucus' legislative conference in 2000. I'd also might add Maria Cantwell and perhaps Connie Niva.

I don't know Rangel, Clyburn or Waters to say.....although I think Waters is over the top. However, Maria Cantwell? Please show me something....a link or an article......that leads you to think she is a comrade of Castro.

Dang, Cantwell is our more conservative senator. She goose stepped right behind Bush on the way to the war in Iraq.

A mouthpiece doesn't just tilt in favor of one party or ideology. It says whatever the government or the party wants it to say.

Yes, now you're getting it.

By that definition Fox News is not a mouthpiece for the Bush administration, or the Republican Party.

I don't agree. On rare occasions, they may disagree with Bush but only in the context it might hurt his re election chances.
