Hi Alan

I'm not so sure about the biblical concept of hell as we understand it. It seems that the devil and his angels are thrown in the lake of fire where they will undergo torment for eternity. And the people who refuse to repent are thrown in also, but not until after the 1,000 year reign. But it does not say that I remember (and I have not looked it up) that they will also be tormented for eternity. And Jesus said the wicked will be burned up like chaff. So that sounds like pretty quickly to me. Not eternal torment. They will be burned up and be gone in a poof just as chaff does if you've ever seen it burn.

But be that as it may the Word does not support that everyone will be saved. It would be a nice outcome for everyone but I can't find it in the word. Can you?

Brian don't post to me on this. <g>
