As far as I see, Java provides Corel a mean of differentiating its products from the mighty MS Office. It seems to me their efforts in Java was not wasted, only propelled, as they migrate toward developing thin-client solutions for their office suite. To say that Java is a completely waste of time and that Corel should immediate abandon all Java efforts doesn't make much sense. Besides the fact, this person may benefit if Corel goes down the tube.

Personally, I think Java has a broad future.
