If the Republicans are going to make this election a mandate on liberal versus conservative, then they are not going to cut it. The American people are going to talk about jobs, jobs and jobs. The stock market is already on a slide, the earnings reports are not expected to be good, and people are going to ask Bush what he has done to feed them.

And niw today his administration has finally admitted that after 3 years of war on terrorism, after all those billions of dollars spent, after all those lives lost, Bush has failed in the war on terrorism since out exposure to the threat reaimns at the same level as in 2001.

When the Bushies say that Al Qaeda is likely to attack, the Bushies are saying that they do not know where the Al Qaeda is, that their dragnet has been ineffective etc. Just sit back and think how idiotic Ashcroft sounds when he run out with the wirning sign. We all ask why they have to do what hey did by issuing the warning.

Never did realize that the Bushies would admit failure on the war on terrorism in this manner. HOw pathetic that the US President openly expressing helplessness.
