How do you know that? There are various indicators, to me, that Kerry will be better than Bush.

For example, Kerry reads books, while Bush doesn't. Being a reader myself, I think Kerry is the better choice.

Kerry has travelled widely, Bush hasn't. I think travel broadens one's horizons.

Kerry knows what it's like to be in a war, Bush doesn't. I think war-time experience is a good thing in a president.

Bush wears his religion on his sleeve, Kerry doesn't. I'm uncomfortable with politicians who discuss their religion so frequently.

There are lots of reasons one might expect Kerry to do a better job than Bush.
