Yesterday's terror briefing was a desperate politically timed scare tactic to take the networks attention off the charismatic Kerry-Edwards ticket. How cynical can you get? They did the same thing during the Abu Graib revelations. Sudenly Ashcroft told us we mgith have a terror attack at any time. But no new evidnce at all and nothing specific.

Anything to stop damaging press from the Bushie perspective.

We need leaders who dont politicize the war on terror like a bunch of boys who cry wolf. What if a real threat comes along? Will anyone believe them anymore? We owe the survivors of 9-11 a lot more than these sleazy political manoevres exploiting 9-11.
