There is an inviolable engagement between ends and the means of acquiring those ends. The ends provide direction. In the case of our cause, the direction is Liberty and Justice for all. The means of reaching that goal must endemically involve action that is just and with respect to the well-being of all creatures. As is the means, so become the ends.
