Well, could be that all the charges he is facing will meet the same fate if Rumsfed will be called as the witness. I'm not saying he was an innocent man according to our standards, but we have to remember that this region is ultra conservative, maybe we can compare this region present culture to our at the dawn of 20th century, in our culture women had no rights to vote, lots of laws were imposed discriminating them, no one was charged for using chemical weapons during WWI. Bushes best friends in this region till today cutting off the hands of the the thieves, beheading criminals not only for killing other people but various other crimes, and official tortures in Saudi Arabia are legal. Saddam was one of most moderates in this region, letting him be judged by the victims of his time in power is unfair, Americans should know that by first hand how credible the victims are, like those who were telling them that Iraqis cannot wait any longer to welcome liberators with the flowers. I'll repeat once again - bush is committing crime by letting Saddam be tried by Iraqis. We will see how many special American forces will be send to help evacuate house of Saud family, and Bin Ladens to the US when the change will take the place over there.
