Message-editing now works on Dev. Pretty much the same as it does here.

Feel free to test it and also see if you can spoof it. See if you're able to edit someone else's message, or edit your own after the 15-minute window is closed.

Also, one thing I'm doing differently there is that if you at least *initiate* an edit within 15 minutes of writing the post, you can take your time editing it because the part that does the actual updating makes sure the message is no more than 30 minutes old. So if you've got 1 minute left to edit a message, you really just have 1 minute left to click the "Edit" link, but 16 to do the actual editing.

Edits are being reflected in Search in near realtime. Search seems to currently lag by about 10-15 seconds, which is more than tolerable.

I've decided that I won't be worrying about getting Preview functionality in place before going live with that version of the site. Being able to edit is good enough. For now. I'll work on Preview once we're all over there and it's stable.

Also, I'm not planning to use that "Use Fixed Font" thing below messages you're writing. I'll just make sure it shows that you can use "< pre >" and "< /pre >" to accomplish that.
