The Heinz- Kerry family may be getting a few questions about their own cozy relationship with Ken Lay and Enron, considering recent news.

Seems the Heinz family trust, run by Ms. Teresa Heinz, put Ken Lay on the board of the Heinz Center philanthropy, just days after buying between $250,000 and $500,000 of Enron stock in December 1995. Lay continued on the Heinz board after Enron's collapse and the Heinz Foundation defended Lay in news reports amid the fraud accusations as having ``a good reputation in the environmental community.'' Kerry also received campaign contributions from an implicated Enron executive, which he later returned after the source was disclosed. tinyurl.com
