I have to paint a ceiling because the painter has gout, of all things (not to mention a leg full of metal that frequently bothers him; he's the slowest painter on earth, a cop who does a lot of overtime he didn't mention when he contracted to paint the house), and I don't want to wait for him, so I must go right now. I should have been painting all day, it's what I had in mind this morning. I don't like to make comments about people to third parties so I won't say anything substantive, but it's been interesting, I must say.
