IMO, Saddam does have a secret cache of WMD's. Saddam is evil, and he is clearly a fool; however not even I believe he is such an idiot as to destroy his weapons while receiving NO benefit for doing so.

I believe the location of his secret cache will be discovered after he is convicted, and he attempts to bargain for his life.

If these weapons went to Syria, the government of Syria will have to answer to the Iraqi people as to why Syria would work with such an evil man. Especially when the testimony of so many of Saddam's victims is heard at his trial.
