the popularity of subprime loans is unique in this cycle, something that I never experienced dating back to 1983, when I first started handling REOs.

We will find out soon enough if subprimes are responsible for such a relatively low default rate and why the MI companies have such a high cure rate ---- just loan those who are behind more money????

Isn't that a chapter from the IMF and World Bank's book?
