History won't be kind to ShrubCo .....

..... Fahrenheit 9/11 may be the only evidence of the Bush "regime" in 20 years. Americans barely read now. By then, it will be a total video culture. Books now attack Bush whenever anyone writes on the subject. Even his own advisors. I hear Pat Buchanan of all people has an attack read to hit the bookstores. Isn't he Mr. Right Wing?

It's becoming accepted by both parties that it was a mistake to go to war in Iraq. If it becomes dogma, Bush won't be reelected.

The debate now seems to be on a key issue: was the bipartisan vote giving Bush war powers the result of deception or improper armtwisting of some sort? Questions along this line are being asked a lot at this point. I remember those days in 2002. If a Democratic senator came out against giving Bush carte blance, the Republicans threw out the "traitor" card. There was incredible pressure back then. It came from the media too. There was a patriotic frenzy. Shoot first, ask questions later.
