I believe that Analog cellular systems either, do not have, or do not use efficiently active power control (please correct me if I am wrong... as if someone wouldn't). I believe that they just "blast away" all of the time. While an essential part of CDMA for phones is the active power control. BTW, has anyone done a patent search on CDMA and QCOM recently? I think that versus other companies you will be pleasantly reassured.
