"It is the economy stupid" That is the key. This time it is going to be "It is still the economy stupid." No matter how much the Bushies yell from rooftops trying to paint people liberal and conservatives and trying to raise the values issue, dividing the country into liberal North and South etc., putting one group of people against another, it ultimately boils down to one thing: If you cannot bring the bacon to the table, then you are no good for me.
