Steve, last time I looked a democrat senator's vote counted the same as a republican senator's vote. Not if those Democrats wait to see which way the majority goes before placing their votes. It's pretty much why a lot of them voted for the Iraq war ... and why liberals like Ted and Michael Moore are angry at them for not taking a stronger stance against Bush. They have no leadership.
