The true goal of the Islamists is to come to power in Muslim countries, and their problem until recently was that they could not win over enough local people to make their revolutions happen. Getting the United States to march into the Muslim world in pursuit of the terrorists was a potentially promising stratagem, since an invasion should produce endless images of American soldiers killing and humiliating Muslims. That might finally push enough people into the arms of the Islamists to get their long-stalled revolutions off the ground.".... Why do the islam terrorists want to come to power in muslim countries? IMO it is for the sole purpose of becoming even more powerful and eventually become a real threat to the free world. Do you think these islam crazies would use WMD on your home town if they had them? and remember that these nutbars don't care how many innocent lives are lost including their own. You see as I said before these islam crazies IMO actually believe they will be rewarded in some paradise by some confused god who rewards murderers. IMO Bush was correct in taking this war on islam terror into their heartland where it should be, You and I and others can argue till we are blue in the face about the reasons for going into Iraq but IMO the world of islam had to be shown in no uncertain terms that the free world would no longer appease islam terror and their goal of global expansion. Or it may just convince those muslims who are not yet radical that the way of the islam terrorists will only lead to total destruction of many of their countries and IMO for some muslims this is the only language they understand.
