I disagree, IMO the Bush administration understands very well what is at stake here. IMO it is those persons....and there are many....who are not able to get past politics in their thinking who do not understand. Did you happen to see kerry on Larry King ? The gist of what he was saying is that he agrees with the war on islam terror and that he would be even more forceful in dealing with them. IMO if there is one single thing that kerry understands it is that the war on islam terror will and must continue what I find scary is HOW he would conduct his war. Will he negotiate? bad news. Will he find a way to rid planet Earth of even more islam terrorists than Bush..Good news. IMO It's all about islam terror and not about Bush or kerry. It's very unfortunate that the enemy is being used to score political points. You said...." US has lost its leadership role in the world."..... I totally disagree strongly. IMO the USA is now reclaiming it's role as world leader of all free nations. The USA has been kicked and prodded by radical islam for many years now without any serious response. If the USA had backed down again from radical islam what do you think the opinion of the world would be of the USA. Wake up chinu. You said...." There was peace in Iraq before the US went in."..... Hard to believe you said that. tell it to all those people in mass graves in Iraq. You said....." And the threat of terrorism in the US is higher today than it was when Clinton left office. "..... I disagree. 9/11 was planed during the clinton years, I am not trying to blame clinton it just happens to be the way things happened, it took a tragedy of this magnitude to wake the sleeping giant. And any attacks against America now will be much more difficult now than it was before 9/11...not impossible but a hell of a lot harder with new laws to weed out islam terrorists before they get here.
