Through his so-called offer of resignation, which Blair himself has not admitted, the P.M. was playing British political game required to maintain party leadership. I understand perfectly your statement; it is a ploy to distract from the fact that you cannot explain why Tony Blair supports Pres Bush. The truthful answer is that the man of integrity, Blair, supports Pres Bush because the latter's Iraqi policies are correct for this period in world history.
