Well I fully agree with your last paragraph and I think Rubin acted on Clinton guidance to postpone the inevitable - lower standard of living in the US and robbing the elderly and the saver of their income, savings and equity to cover US deficits. IMHO just wonder some times why ENron and WorldCom are to blame when the US administration since Clinton do almost the same
