Per the LA Times today, only 17% of Americans are Christian conservatives and they're already in the Bush camp, though Kerry may talk sense into a few of them. Though about 55% of Americans call themselves Christians, most are the Easter and Christmas types who rarely go to church and don't particularly care for intolerant and polarizing religious talk and attitudes from our leaders. The real issue this year will be HONESTY and on that one Kerry wins hands-down.
