I'm of the opinion that Bush is a lot smarter then folks give him credit for. With that said your statement is soooooo true unfortunately. But look at the process of becoming elected. Who in their right mind other then some power hungry ego maniac would subject themselves or their families to the process.

We have the government we deserve at this point I'm afraid.
