Ann, The best way to think about MM's film is not to think in terms of singular facts. This date, that date, he said, she said. There may very well not be ONE SINGLE FACT out of place...that does not mean however, the film is honest.

Think of it this way. How does a jury convict an innocent man? We know it happens but how? Well, the prosecutor takes individual facts that on their face may very well be true, this date, that date, he said, she said, etc...and weaves them in a way that they collectively create a FALSE IMPRESSION.

Leaving facts out in a criminal case is a felony but NOT in moviemaking. Creating false impressions is what MM is all about. Not individual facts.

The lie is not in individual facts but rather the underlying premises.
