Bloomburgs early morning broadcast covered Hi Tech stocks. They pointed out they are out of favor and have dropped over 6% for the year. Merrill and others have stated that Tech stocks will continue to perform poorly over the next 6 months or year. The main reason is earnings are not hitting the mark. Even the few companies that are doing well are being taken down also.

IDX is going to have to do extremely well to move up. As we have heard before:

“They are going to have to earn it”
