I saw him on PBS a few nights ago. He basically said that he has a different perspective on the world [than Bush] which leads to very different conclusions. The gist of it was that he said this administration sees US as the sole superpower and wants to tie all the lose ends while it can and while no one can oppose it. Outside help is sought as a last resort. In contrast, he [Clinton] thinks as longs as there is time there will be evil doers. So he prefers to build interdependent institutions such that US does not have to be the only power that acts (or can act) and only when the cooperative solutions cannot be found, he will consider acting alone.
