BS. SLANDER! You are a HUGE LIAR. How dare you post that dishonest trash.

First of all Kerry's 1971 testimony to congress was in DEFENSE of soldiers being sent to Nam where atrocities were just part of the daily madness. He was demanding an end to the madness and out of control war.

Second, for you to deny the atrocities in Vietnam happened is just plain dishonest. Kerry stands by his statements today and no one would dare stand up and try to PROVE him wrong. Kerry did apologize for some of his colorful descriptions, but only if they hurt the feelings of anyone. But to deny the bloody madness of Nam is the ultimate in dishonesty. You cannot whitewash that war with its Phenoix Program, napalm and Agent Orange any more than you can what went on at Abu Graib or atrocities in any other war.

Vietnam was the US military at its worst, but the real fault lay with the presidents and super-hawks at the top who LIED to Americans in order to escalate the war (without a clear mission or threat I might add).

Kerry was simply telling the truth and laying the blame at the feet of Johson and Nixon, not the soldiers. To suggest otherwise is SLANDER. John Kerry has fought for veterans and soldiers all his life and you know it.
