What this administration DID, with it's finger on the trigger, was to decide that the pro-war evidence was sufficient to justify the inevitable loss of lives and resources before it had even given the U.N. inspectors time to get their inspections well underway, before it had weighed the FACT that the few U.N. inspections which had been done had disproved much of its pro-war "intelligence," and before it had secured the essential cooperation and agreement of even a substantial MINORITY of the civilized nations of the world.<./i>

It needed to be done and thank goodness we had a strong leader willing to do so.....12 years of dithering by the UN and international community was enough.....9/11 changed the way we evaluate these types of threats.....and Bush was exactly right.....
