I'd say off with all their heads :-) Ok, let's just throw them all out. As far as I am concerned, most politicians were a bunch of cowards after 9/11 who rather than serving the country and protecting our rights found it easier to jump on the hysteria bandwagon and engaged in a one-upmanship game of "I am more anti-terrorist than you".

It was obvious, to those who wanted to see it, that Dems did not really believe in much of what they were saying but felt it would be best to give Neocons enough rope to hang themselves. They knew they'll have their chance to roast Bush before the elections. Just the same, I don't find their actions in the best interests of the country. As for the Reps, well some of them believed in what they were doing, but most were just towing the party line. And the Neocons of course viewed 9/11 as a Godsend to implement their PNAC agenda.

So all in all, they all sucked and I'll be happy to see them all pay.
