Why do you think like that? What do I have to hide? Nothing. Why should I subject myself to your insecurities and fears and allow you to put people, foreigners who largely do not understand our government, in a position of "monitoring." What could they do about it anyway? They have no status here. That dumb arguement goes back to the gun debate. ::whiny voice on:: "Why don't you want to register your guns? What have you got to hide?" ::whiny voice off:: ::Logical American citizen reply:: Because it is legal for me to own guns, I do not have to subject myself to registration or trackig for something that is legal, just to make John Q whiny public feel more secure. What have I got to hide. ::puke:: What kind of stupid reasoning is that? I am an Ameircan citizen. I do not answer to a foreign national when I am involved in something as American as voting for President of my country. If you cannot see that, then God forbid you ever be placed anywhere near a seat of governmental power. You probably agree with Kerry and think our troops should work under UN generals and be subject to an International Criminal Court that is staffed with people from countries who hate our guts. We are a sovereign nation. We answer to and police ourselves. As soon as we lose that, we are no longer the United States of America. "What do you have to hide?" What a stupid, stupid, line of arguement.
