Edwards has shown he doesn't have a full understanding of several issues, like that time he stumbled in a debate in response to a question from Brit Hume. I don't recall the particular issue, but it was something he should have known. And there was his poor performance on Tim Russert's show. I'm sure he's brushing up, but I bet Cheney catches him flat-footed more than once in the debates.
