Is your distinction between migration, which you condone, and offshoring, which you oppose, based upon social and historical factors, i.e., the immigrants' contribution to the American experience. Or is it based on economic reasoning, e.g., migrants are sure to consume a substantial part of their salaries in their local American communities? At some level, both migration and offshoring both threaten prevailing wage rates.
